Fast Company Editorial visual

We crafted a short editorial visual for Fast Company's “Next Big Things in Tech” article, featuring a colorful gif that explores new exciting perspectives through 3D shapes with a 2D finish.

We created this short motion design piece to accompany one of Fast Company's most exciting articles of the year: “Next Big Things in Tech”, which highlights the tech companies that are shaping the future of our economy—and the world as a whole. The concept behind the editorial visual was to visualize very abstract gears that are formed, come together, and evolve, before exploding in all directions. This dynamic movement represents how these innovative players are constantly pushing boundaries and creating change in every direction. To tie into the theme of new and diverse perspectives for the future, we decided to work in 3D, but with a 2D finish. This mix gave the final visual a fresh look while keeping it grounded in a more geometric, flat style. It was all about creating something original that felt both innovative and visually striking—just like the companies listed by Fast Company in this annual recognition. Fun fact: this high-contrast color palette was actually chosen directly from our Instagram! As a color-driven studio, we love sharing our experimental palettes from time to time. The client loved this one (link) so much that they decided to use it for the project. And honestly? It couldn’t have been a better fit for a concept focused on technology!
